Shrnutí: | With the epidemic status acquired by syphilis in Brazil in 2016, the Ministry of Health (2017) implemented the Rapid Response to Syphilis in Health Care Networks Project, which aims to reduce acquired and maternal syphilis and eliminate congenital syphilis in the country. The “Syphilis No!” Project promotes joint, integrated and collaborative actions, involving several sectors interested in strengthening the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). One of the pillars of the project determines the realization of research in the field of Educommunication which results in products that allow, besides other actions, the use of technological mediation focused on education and communication for the dissemination of information aimed at professionals, managers, users, and the general population. This thesis proposes the creation of an Open Educational Resource (OER) model built together with Potiguara indigenous people, from the Baía da Traição (PB), that, when available on the SUS Virtual Learning Environment, will allow indigenous communities from all over the country to learn how to use podcasts in the production and knowledge exchange of health, based on local people and beliefs (Geertz, 2014; Morin & Terena, 2010). The methodology of action research (Thiollent, 2011) was applied to investigate the habits, culture, and specific communication needs of the Potiguara community. Bibliographic research (Stumpf, 2006), seminars (Oliveira-Formosinho, 2014; Travancas, 2006) and semi-structured interviews (Duarte, 2006) comprised the list of techniques that allowed the deepening of the research with a view to its theoretical foundation and the collection of official data on syphilis and the Brazilian indigenous population. The study pointed out that OER developed from local knowledge not only contributes to providing access to a formal and non-formal educational environment for the most excluded (UNESCO, 2015), but are increasingly important in the Lifelong Learning process. In a reality dominated by information and communication technologies (ICT), the use of the internet and instructional planning that takes into account the learner’s profile, eeds, and context (Filatro, 2019) are the main characteristics of the new era of education. |
