要約: | The Brazilian standard ABNT NBR ISO 37101 - Sustainable development of communities - Management system for sustainable development - Requirements with guidance for use, published by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards in August 2017, has its origin in the international standard ISO 37101:2016. This publication addresses the environmental, social and economic aspects, that is, the three dimensions of sustainability and transcends the strictly technical environment. As a normative instrument, it intends to assist communities in the preparation of holistic strategic planning, based on local priorities and needs, identified through the analysis of sustainability purposes and themes, and subsequent implementation of a continuous improvement management system. The exploratory research proposes a critical analysis and synthesis of the normative guidelines before the national reality, taking as reference the strategies and results obtained in interventions in central urban areas already practiced in some Brazilian cities without the support of any norm focused on sustainable development in communities. Through a qualitative approach based on relevant documentary and bibliographical research, the objective is to analyze the applicability of that normative instrument in the implementation of sustainable development of Brazilian communities with focus on rehabilitative central urban areas, as defined by public policies. |
