Whakarāpopototanga: | The use of artistic methodologies in research that has a transdisciplinary nature, overlapping research-teaching-extension, it can be a viable and important path in projects which, although they do not focus on teaching/learning in Art, include actions artistic in its scope. The project Designing other realities with children was held in the Morro do Papagaio favela in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, which took advantage of the artistic research methodology in the analysis of drawings/paintings made by children from the Ulysses Guimarães Municipal School. In this text, it is recorded how the methodology participated in the project, what actions were carried out and the production of a playful pedagogical material – Morro de Papel – as evidence of the involvement and protagonism of the children in guiding the research directions. |
