Sumari: | The development of the brazilian city of Santos is attached historically to its port development, associated with a structure of economic, social and cultural flow. Throughout the 20th century, with the presence of audiovisual devices, Santos and its port are now portrayed in the sphere of the moving image. The objective of this text is to analyze how the port of Santos was situated in the brazilian documentary scene, through three films: Companhia Docas de Santos (unknown director, 1926-1929), O Porto de Santos (Aloysio Raulino, 1978) and Nau Insensata (Cristiano Sidoti, 2018). It is expected to perceive and point out how the port is shown under its image and audio, how the port appears in the narrative and how these works are located in the Brazilian documentary, thus trying to perceive and point out similarities and technical / conceptual differences in cinematography between the films, from the port as a filmic element. |
