Riassunto: | The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric study to characterize, typify and relate the socio-environmental impacts resulting from the collapse of the Fundão dam in the Doce River basin in Minas Gerais. The methodological procedures included: retrieval of information from the Web of Science and Scopus databases; composition of the corpus; standardization and processing of records; and data analysis. The main results indicate a growth trend in the selected production; a predominance of articles related to environmental (water) and biological (aquatic organisms) impacts; and a discussion on the challenges of the mining sector in the face of the Sustainable Development Goals. |
