This paper aims to develop a collection of womenswear directed to the public BDSM (Bondage, Dommination, Sadism and Masochism) to meet the demand of fashion this specific niche market. Initially a literature review was conducted to gather information about the BDSM universe, identifying the main features of behavior of these people and relating the structures that determine their garments. Following has been applied field research in a BDSM group to seek information about behavior and lifestyle and with the intent to better understand the consumer interests of this group. The study aims to bring nnovation to the incorporation of raw materials and aesthetic elements of the structures of BDSM clothing – specifically the corset – focusing on the visual integration of a new concept of using this structure Clothing for practitioners of this subculture.
