This work has as object of study the Light Steel Framing and it provides information about the vision of the companies builders around the market regarding the use of this new system in the construction industry. Through and surveys is possible to perceive and understand what is the vision of the developers about the future of the projects. The Light Steel Framing system is already used and well accepted in developed countries. The same is already found in Brazil, but its application is not well accepted, it has the highest acceptance rate in larger centers such as Londrina, Maringa, Cascavel and some other cities of the Paraná State. In this work, the construction companies consulted are from the city of Campo Mourao. City located in the northwest of Parana which has 87,194 habitants and an income per capita of 833.05 reais, according to the IBGE 2010. The research was conducted taking into account the following: labor (qualified or not), accessibility to technology, market demand, economy, qualification of designers. After analyzes carried out through surveys and interviews with 11 construction companies a standard has been identified and it is possible to concluded the need to renew the means of production, however, the masonry will be effective for a long time because to factors such as labor available, the market demand and economic viability. Therefore, it is considered important that companies seek to update and study on the subject so that in case of change in the current economic situation or emergence of any technological innovation, designers can be prepared to get adapted in the market.
