This study presents a comparative of the structural launching process and thus the results obtained from two structural calculation softwares, Eberick and TQS. For the development of this work, a case study was carried out, in other words, the structural launch and the sizing of a commercial building located in the city of Pato Branco - PR. Thereby, the programs were configured in a way in order to obtain the similar sizing between them. In both softwares, it was analyzed and compared the criteria and considerations, the error messages and warnings, the structural elements for the ultimate limit state and for the ultimate service state, and the consumption of materials. Regarding the results, there were some differences between the softwares, like in some criteria analyzed during the launch of the structure and in the values of some efforts, which reflected in the detailing. However, in general, these differences were not significant and the resulting sizing between the softwares was convergent.
