The PIBID influences on the initial formation and teaching practice in basic education in the perception of its participants

Summary: | This qualitative approach (BIKLEN; BOGDAN, 2013) study aims to evaluate the PIBID influences on the initial formation and teaching practice in basic education, regarding the UFMS presential degree courses, from 2009 to 2018. For the research, three stages were made that included: the bibliographic and exploratory phase, which consisted in the bibliographic review in national scientific production index basis and information survey about the program participants; the field collect phase, through online surveys with open and multiple-choice questions and; the third phase, in which the results statistical treatment about the respondent profiles and content analysis methodology use were made, in the Bardin´s (2016) perspective, for analyzing the information about the PIBID. The main identified categories regarding the program were: theoretical-practical relation; formation; opportunity; knowledge; importance; innovation and professional identity. The program, according to the respondents, provides teaching professional identity formation, higher information flow among the superior teaching institutions (IES) and the school, besides representing an academic growth opportunity. In conclusion, at the participants’ perception, the program is recognized as important, especially about its contributions for improving the initial formation, teaching identity construction, and teaching appreciation |

Para la ejecución de la investigación, tres etapas fueron realizadas que abarcaron: la fase bibliográfica y exploratoria, que consistió en un balance bibliográfico en bases de indexación de la producción científica nacional y en el relevamiento de informaciones sobre los participantes del programa; la fase de recolección a campo, a través de encuestas online con preguntas abiertas y de opción múltiples y la tercera fase, en la cual hubo tratamiento estadístico de los resultados sobre el perfil de los respondientes y uso de la metodología de análisis de contenido, en la perspectiva de Bardin (2016), para análisis de las informaciones sobre el PIBID. Las principales categorías identificadas acerca del programa fueron: relación teórico-práctica; formación; oportunidad; conocimiento; importancia; innovación e identidad profesional. El programa, según los respondientes, proporciona formación de la identidad profesional docente, mayor flujo de informaciones entre las instituciones de enseñanza superior (IES) y la escuela, además de representar una oportunidad de crecimiento académico. Concluyese que, en la percepción de los participantes, hay el reconocimiento de la importancia del programa, especialmente respecto a sus contribuciones para la mejora de formación inicial, construcción de la identidad docente y valoración del magisterio.O objetivo deste estudo, de abordagem qualitativa (BIKLEN; BOGDAN, 2013), foi o de analisar as influências do PIBID sobre a formação inicial e a prática docente na educação básica, nos cursos de licenciatura presenciais na UFMS, no período de 2009 a 2018. Para a execução da pesquisa, foram realizadas três etapas que abrangeram: a fase bibliográfica e exploratória, que consistiu no balanço bibliográfico em bases de indexação da produção científica nacional e no levantamento de informações sobre os participantes do programa; a fase da coleta em campo, por meio da disponibilização de questionários online com perguntas abertas e de múltipla escolha e a terceira fase, em que houve tratamento estatístico dos resultados sobre o perfil dos respondentes e uso da metodologia de análise de conteúdo, na perspectiva de Bardin (2016), para análise das informações sobre o PIBID. As principais categorias identificadas acerca do programa foram: relação teoria-prática; formação; oportunidade; conhecimento; importância; inovação e identidade profissional. O programa, segundo os respondentes, proporciona formação da identidade profissional docente, maior fluxo de informações entre as instituições de ensino superior (IES) e a escola, além de representar uma oportunidade de crescimento acadêmico.
