Summary: | The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of racial quotas as affirmative actions for access to higher education. This is an article of analysis, and to meet the objective it was necessary to weave brief concepts about racial inequality in Brazil; understand conceptually affirmative actions and racial quotas; examine your legal support. `a qualitative and bibliographical study that started from the premise of the lass struggle established in society throughout history, as well as racial inequality and violence against blacks in Brazil. The study found that the quota system was a watershed in the democratization of black access to higher education, albeit with contrary arguments and allegations that quotas discriminate and instill the idea that blacks would be incompetent. It also noted the high number of students evading the University, and the urgency of affirmative action policies aimed at the permanence of these students in the Univers. |

Este es un artículo de análisis, y para alcanzar el objetivo era necesario tejer conceptos breves sobre la desigualdad racial en Brasil; comprender las acciones conceptualmente afirmativas y las cuotas raciales; Examina tu apoyo legal. `Un estudio cualitativo y bibliográfico que parte de la premisa de la lucha de las muchachas establecida en la sociedad a lo largo de la historia, así como de la desigualdad racial y la violencia contra los negros en Brasil. El estudio encontró que el sistema de cuotas fue un hito en la democratización del acceso de los negros a la educación superior, aunque con argumentos y acusaciones contrarias de que las cuotas discriminan e inculcan la idea de que los negros serían incompetentes. También señaló el alto número de estudiantes que evaden la Universidad, y la urgencia de políticas de acción afirmativa dirigidas a la permanencia de estos estudiantes en las universidades.O Objetivo do presente estudo é analisar o impacto das cotas raciais como ações afirmativas para o acesso da população negra ao ensino superior. Trata-se de um artigo de análise, e para atender ao objetivo fez-se necessário tecer breves conceitos acerca da desigualdade racial no Brasil; entender conceitualmente ações afirmativas e as cotas raciais; examinar sua sustentação legal. É um estudo bibliográfico e qualitativo que partiu da premissa da luta de classes instituída na sociedade ao longo da história, bem como da desigualdade racial e violência contra negros no Brasil. O estudo constatou que o sistema de cotas representou um divisor de águas quanto a democratização do acesso da população negra ao Ensino Superior, ainda que com argumentações contrárias e alegações de que as cotas discriminam e incutem a ideia de que os negros seriam incompetentes.
