Ainda que tenhamos uma vida urbanizada rodeada de tecnologias, não podemos substituir a necessidade de estar conectados a Natureza por sermos totalmente pertencentes e dependentes dela. Com isso, o objetivo geral dessa pesquisa é de identificar como a Natureza Terapêutica pode contribuir para a conscientização ambiental podendo ser tanto Preservacionista ou Conservacionista. Assim, a presente pesquisa busca a problematização das seguintes indagações: O bem-estar trazido pela Natureza Terapêutica desperta um senso de conscientização ambiental na qual promoverá mudanças de atitude e comportamento em prol da defesa de proteção ambiental? Para qual direção a imersão na Natureza Terapêutica conduz o sujeito dentro das possibilidades de conscientização ambiental? Para isso, analisando as referências bibliográficas discutiremos de que forma a Natureza age terapeuticamente nos seres humanos a ponto de levarem a essa conscientização ambiental, juntamente com levantamento empírico. Foi efetivado um questionário com pessoas que praticam uma experiência direta com a natureza e fizeram a trilha/escalada do Parque Nacional do Caparaó, localizado na divisa do Espírito Santo e Minas Gerais. Even if we have an urbanized life surrounded by technologies, we can not substitute the necessity of being connected to nature by being totally belonging and dependent on it. With this, the general objective of this research is to identify how the therapeutic nature can contribute to the environmental awareness being able to be either preservationist or conservationist. Thus, the present research seeks to problematize the following questions: Does the well-being brought about by the therapeutic nature awaken a sense of environmental awareness and connection with nature, in which it will promote changes in attitude and behavior in favor of environmental protection? To what direction does immersion in the therapeutic nature lead the subject, within the range of possibilities of environmental awareness? For this, analyzing the bibliographical references, we will discuss how nature acts therapeutically in human beings to the point of leading to this environmental awareness, together with empirical survey. A questionnaire was carried out with people who practice a direct experience with nature and did the trail / climb of Caparaó National Park, located on the border of Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais.
