“O show da evolução”: a utilização de um jogo lúdico como ferramenta no ensino de evolução biológica

Due to the difficulties that teachers have in working with Biological Evolution in the classroom, the objective of this work was to develop the playful activity - Evolution Show - a didactic-digital tool that helps in the teaching-learning process, supporting teachers High School. In view of the objective of this work, the methodology used is related to the creation of the game. The Evolution Show is a game of questions and answers, developed in the PowerPoint® program, whose questions present three degrees of difficulty - Easy, Medium and Difficult. It is a game that aims to demonstrate the evolutionary process, from the accumulation of points (computed in the form of ATP) that at the end of the game will be converted into a litter, showing whether the chosen phenotype has adaptive advantages or not. Due to the fact that this activity has not been applied, the results and discussions are related to: the creation and operation of the game; and the relationship with other recreational activities. It is a tool aimed at third grade classes in high school and can be adapted for the others. This activity has a minimalist design, representing a portion of what educators can do with little / medium computer knowledge. And when you have time, it is possible to do much more, without spending, with the aim of improving teaching practice. The activity will be released as soon as the necessary assessments and necessary corrections are made and the results are expected to be the best possible.
