Os serviços tecnológicos na área das TIC têm dado um contributo significativo para o surgimento de novos conceitos como o é o caso do E-Government. Com efeito, a adoção das novas ferramentas tecnológicas promove a modernização, desmaterialização e simplificação da AP fazendo com que esta se torne mais proativa, eficiente, transparente e orientada para a prestação de serviços de acordo com as necessidades dos cidadãos. Pretende-se, assim, neste relatório fazer uma breve abordagem teórica aos diversos conceitos de E-Government, descrever as interações, caraterizar os seus estádios de maturidade, explanar a sua evolução em Portugal assim como analisar as medidas de desmaterialização e simplificação (Simplex) pertencentes à modernização administrativa na Câmara Municipal de Coimbra. .In the age of information and knowledge in which we find ourselves, governments around the world have felt the need to adapt the forms of communication between administrations and the administered (citizens and businesses). Technology services in the ICT area have made a significant contribution to the emergence of new concepts such as E-Government. In effect, the adoption of new technological tools promotes the modernization, dematerialization and simplification of Public Administration, making it more proactive, efficient, transparent and oriented towards the provision of services according to the needs of the citizens.
