Este relatório é desenvolvido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em Creche e Jardim de Infância, desenvolvida ao longo do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar, cujo objetivo geral é perceber a importância da relação família-escola, a sua evolução ao longo dos anos, os obstáculos a esta relação e as melhores estratégias melhorar a relação família-escola. Para tal, recorri à metodologia de investigação-ação pois ser investigador é criticar e questionar tudo aquilo que se realiza, desenvolvendo competências de organização para compreender e solucionar o problema detetado (Alarcão, 2001) 89 Neste relatório será apresentado o enquadramento teórico relativamente à relação família-escola e as estratégias a que recorri nas intervenções, tendo sido fundamentais as minhas planificações, observações, notas de campo e reflexões, inquéritos aos pais, entrevistas e conversas informais com as educadoras, ouvindo sempre os pais e percebendo os seus ideais e conceções relativamente ao tema, envolvendo-os no dia-a-dia da criança; The Relationship and Collaboration between Families and Early Childhood Education Institutions: Details of a Path Abstract: This report is developed within the scope of the Curricular Unit of Supervised Teaching Practice in Nursery and Kindergarten, developed during the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education, whose general objective is to understand the importance of the family-school relationship, its evolution throughout the years, the obstacles to this relationship and the best strategies to improve the family-school relationship. To this end, I resorted to the action-research methodology because being a researcher is to criticize and question everything that is done, developing organizational skills to understand and solve the problem detected (Alarcão, 2001). In this report, the theoretical framework regarding the family-school relationship and the strategies I used in interventions will be presented, having been fundamental my plans, observations, field notes and reflections, surveys with parents, interviews and informal conversations with the educators, always listening to parents and understanding their ideals and conceptions regarding the subject, involving them in the child's day-to-day.
