It reviews the current system of pension provision, describes the recent reforms, and checks the legal regulatory and actuarial framework for occupational pension schemes. Also, it outlines the different types of risks and returns from membership of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes and advantages and disadvantages of transferring out from the defined benefits scheme to defined contribution one.
