Summary: This document analyses the existing literature regarding the creative tourism. Later, based on the results presents new and comprehensive avenues of future research on the topic. Through a bibliometric review, existing research on this theme was analyzed using search keywords in the Scopus and ISI Web of Science databases. After the final selection, the articles were analyzed in terms of keyword co-occurrence using Vosviewer software as an analysis tool. Subsequently, a critical analysis of creative tourism was performed, and finally, possible future research opportunities were proposed. The results show that research on creative tourism gravitates around four major areas that complement each other: creative tourism that occurs through the co-creation of experience; it is based on creativity; it appropriates culture, which can be seen to achieve local sustainability.

Posteriormente, basándose en los resultados, presenta nuevas y amplias vías de investigación futura sobre el tema. A través de una revisión bibliométrica, se analizaron las investigaciones existentes sobre este tema mediante la búsqueda de palabras clave en las bases de datos Scopus e ISI Web of Science. Tras la selección final, los artículos se analizaron en términos de co-ocurrencia de palabras clave utilizando el software Vosviewer como herramienta de análisis. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis crítico del turismo creativo y, por último, se propusieron posibles oportunidades de investigación en el futuro. Los resultados muestran que la investigación sobre el turismo creativo gravita en torno a cuatro grandes áreas que se complementan entre sí: el turismo creativo que se produce a través de la cocreación de la experiencia; se basa en la creatividad; se apropia de la cultura, lo que puede verse para lograr la sostenibilidad local.Este documento analisa a literatura existente sobre o turismo criativo. Mais tarde, com base nos resultados apresenta novas e abrangentes vias de investigação futura sobre o tema. Através de uma revisão bibliométrica, a pesquisa existente sobre este tema foi analisada utilizando palavras-chave de pesquisa nas bases de dados Scopus e ISI Web of Science. Após a selecção final, os artigos foram analisados em termos de co-ocorrência de palavras-chave utilizando o software Vosviewer como ferramenta de análise. Subsequentemente, foi realizada uma análise crítica do turismo criativo, e finalmente, foram propostas possíveis oportunidades futuras de pesquisa.
