A aprendizagem das ciências através do trabalho prático no 1.º ciclo do ensino básico e na educação pré-escolar

A presente investigação foi elaborada no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em Educação Pré-Escolar e 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, no Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, na Universidade de Évora. A área das ciências é extremamente importante na formação de cidadãos pois engloba variadas temáticas que são transversais e essenciais na vida do individuo. De forma a tornar estas aprendizagens mais cativantes e interessantes, surge o trabalho prático que é um elo crucial para a motivação das crianças na aquisição de aprendizagens significativas. Durante as práticas foi desenvolvido um estudo com o tema “Aprendizagem das Ciências Através do Trabalho Prático no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e na Educação Pré-Escolar”, tendo por base o trabalho prático nas áreas das ciências. A investigação assentou na metodologia investigação-ação com o seguinte objetivo central: Compreender como é que o trabalho prático pode contribuir para as aprendizagens nas áreas do Estudo do Meio e do Conhecimento do Mundo. Após o tratamento e análise dos dados recolhidos, os resultados parecem reforçar que através do trabalho prático as crianças adquirem aprendizagens ativas e significativas, que cativam e motivam o gosto pelas ciências; - Learning Sciences Through Practical Work in Primary School and PreSchool Education Abstract: The present investigation was carried out within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice in Pre-School Education and Primary Education, in the Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the Primary Education, at the University of Évora. The area of science is extremely important in the training of citizens as it encompasses various themes that are transversal and essential in the individual's life. In order to make this learning more captivating and interesting, practical work arises, which is a crucial link in motivating children to acquire meaningful learning. During the practices, a study was developed with the theme “Learning Science Through Practical Work in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Pre-School Education”, based on practical work in the areas of science. The investigation was based on the action research methodology with the following central objective: Understanding how practical work can contribute to learning in the areas of Study of the Environment and Knowledge of the World. After processing and analyzing the data collected, the results seem to reinforce that through practical work, children acquire active and meaningful learning, which captivates and motivates their enjoyment of science.
