O tema das migrações está presente em todos os espaços sociais do nosso quotidiano e um dos destinos mais procurados é a Europa, que parece oferecer melhores condições. A queda dos regimes do Leste Europeu, os conflitos e dificuldades inerentes têm provocado a mobilidade das populações dessa parte do globo. A chegada a Portugal desses cidadãos veio acentuar a heterogeneidade, já existente na sociedade portuguesa. Esta diversidade, com a pluralidade linguística e cultural dos alunos, espelhada nas escolas, levou o M.E. a reconhecer o Português como Língua Segunda. Este trabalho tem como objectivo conhecer e caracterizar repertórios linguísticos, culturais e escolares de 5 aprendentes de Leste (2º CEB) e, verificar as representações que têm da aprendizagem da Língua Portuguesa. A estratégia a utilizar é a narrativa de vida, na qual o verbo “narrar” assume um papel fundamental. Tendo em conta esta problemática, a investigação procurou trazer alguns contributos à gestão das dificuldades, para um mútuo enriquecimento e integração dos intervenientes no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, bem como o que fazer para ensinar Português como Língua Segunda. ABSTRACT: The theme migrations are present in every social aspects of our life and one of the most wanted destinies is Europe, which seems to offer the best conditions. The fall of the government (regime) of the European East, the conflicts and the difficulties inherent, caused the mobility of the populations from that part of the globe. The arrival to Portugal of those citizens emphasized the heterogeneity already existent in the Portuguese society. This diversity with the linguistic plurality and cultural from the students, seen in the schools, took the M.E. to recognize Portuguese has Second Language. The objective of this work is to know and characterize linguistic, cultural and school repertoires from the East 5 learners (2º CEB), verify the representations they have from the learning of Portuguese Language. The strategy is to use the narrative of life in which the verb narrates as a fundamental importance. Assuming this problem, the investigation tried to bring some contributes to manage these difficulties, to have a mutual enrichment and integration of the intervenient in the teaching process – learning as well as what to do to teach Portuguese has a Second Language.
