Considerou a Assembleia do Colégio da Especialidade de Enfermagem de Reabilitação, nas áreas de investigação prioritárias em Enfermagem de Reabilitação para 2015-2025, a avaliação de enfermagem de reabilitação em intervenções autónomas do enfermeiro especialista em diversos campos, nomeadamente, a função na deglutição e a validação de escalas. As perturbações da deglutição representam uma causa de morbilidade e mortalidade importante, e as evidências cientificas apontam para a importância da deteção precoce destas perturbações. As competências da Enfermagem de Reabilitação abrangem a avaliação e reeducação da deglutição. Este Relatório visa analisar critica e fundamentadamente o desenvolvimento de competências de especialista e mestre. Elegemos como foco de atenção para o nosso projeto: Avaliação da deglutição pela aplicação da Escala GUSS: Contribuição da Enfermagem de Reabilitação, tendo por base os objetivos de validação da Escala GUSS; desenvolver competências especificas de enfermagem de reabilitação e intervenções de enfermagem na continuidade dos cuidados; ABSTRACT: The evaluations of the swallowing process using the GUSS scale of evaluation: contribution of the rehabilitation nurse The Assembly of the College of Specialists in Nursing Rehabilitation, considered a priority in the areas of investigation in Rehabilitation Nursing for 2015-2015, the evaluation of rehabilitation in autonomous interventions of nursing specialists in several areas, namely, the function of swallowing and the validation of Screening Scales. The disturbances of swallowing represent an important cause of morbidity and mortality and the scientific evidence points towards the importance of early detection of disturbances. The skills of Rehabilitation Nurse cover the evaluation and re-education of swallowing. This report aims to analyze critically and reasonably the development of specialist and master skills. We choose to focus the attention of our project on: Evaluation of swallowing by the application of the GUSS Scale; the contribution of Rehabilitation Nursing based on the objectives of the GUSS Scale; develop specific skills of rehabilitation nursing and nursing interventions in continuous care.
