Este relatório, surge de forma a unir a gastronomia com o turismo criativo, propondo assim, Cantanhede como Cidade Criativa da Gastronomia. Esta proposta surge devido ao elevado número de festivais, feiras e mostras gastronómicas que se realizam anualmente repartidas pelas catorze freguesias do concelho.O presente relatório baseia-se na revisão da literatura existente, de modo a compreender de que forma os conceitos a serem aplicados posteriormente têm sido trabalhados na investigação, de forma a entender a sua relevância para o presente trabalho. Abordaram-se temas como o turismo cultural, gastronómico e criativo, bem como a rede das cidades criativas da UNESCO. O relatório encontra-se dividido em duas grandes partes. Numa primeira parte a componente teórica, já referida anteriormente, numa segunda parte apresentou-se a caraterização do território em análise, e a caraterização da identidade de acolhimento, a Câmara Municipal de Cantanhede.Com este relatório concluiu-se que Cantanhede preenche os requisitos necessários para se candidatar a Cidade Criativa da UNESCO, havendo no entanto necessidade do município criar políticas específicas para a candidatura.This internship report, carried out within the scope of the Master in Tourism, Territory and Heritage, has the primary objective of understanding whether the city of Cantanhede fulfils all the requirements to become a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy. For this reason, the curricular internship that originated this report (2021/2022) was developed in the Cantanhede City Council.This report intends to unite gastronomy with creative tourism, thus proposing Cantanhede as a Creative City of Gastronomy. This proposal arises due to the high number of festivals, fairs and gastronomic shows that take place annually in the fourteen parishes of the municipality.The current report is based on a review of the existing literature, to understand how the concepts to be applied subsequently have been worked on in research, in order to understand their relevance for the present work. Topics such as cultural, gastronomic, and creative tourism were addressed, as well as the UNESCO network of creative cities. The report is divided into two major parts. In a first part, the theoretical component, already mentioned above, in a second part, the characterization of the territory under analysis, and the characterization of the host identity, the Municipality of Cantanhede.
