Summary: | Water is an essential input for the maintenance of life, its supply is carried out by lifting motor pumps. Equipment that is subject to stress and failures arising from several factors, one of them is the occurrence of cavitation in the pump rotors that subject the material of this equipment to erosive wear that occurs through micro implosions of steam bubbles. This work presents the architecture and simulation of the operation of the embedded system that was developed for the activation and supervision of the use of two motor pumps, applied to the water supply in civil buildings. The motor pumps are activated in alternating mode to supply the supply demand, and the pump operating temperature is monitored for the application of a fuzzy diagnostic system regarding the tendency for cavitation to occur. The entire operation of the supply system can be monitored using a mobile application processed by smartphone, developed on the Android platform. The tests carried out for different modes of operation, as well as the diagnosis and signaling of the pump's heating condition, proved the validity of the proposal. |

The tests carried out for different modes of operation, as well as the diagnosis and signaling of the pump's heating condition, proved the validity of the proposal.A água é um insumo primordial para a manutenção da vida, e seu abastecimento em edificações com elevada altura de recalque é realizado com uso de motobombas elevatórias, sendo que esses equipamentos em operação estão sujeitos a estresses eletromecânicos e consequentemente a ocorrência de falhas causadas por diversos fatores. Um desses fatores é a cavitação nos rotores da bomba, que submetem o material deste equipamento aos desgastes erosivos ocorridos em função de micro implosões de bolhas de vapor, fenômeno gerado em fluidos líquidos bombeados por variação da pressão a qual o fluído está submetido. Nesse trabalho é apresentada a arquitetura e a simulação da operação do sistema embarcado que foi desenvolvido para o acionamento e a supervisão do uso de duas motobombas, aplicadas ao abastecimento de água em edificações civis. As motobombas são acionadas em modo alternado para suprirem a demanda de abastecimento, sendo monitorada a temperatura de operação da bomba para aplicação de um sistema fuzzy de diagnóstico quanto à tendência de ocorrência de cavitação. Toda a operação do sistema de abastecimento pode ser monitorada com uso de um aplicativo móvel processado por smartphone, desenvolvido sobre a plataforma Android.
