Esta investigación tiene como propósito principal la identificación de algunos movimientos y metodologías que presentan esta situación. Posteriormente, se comparan con los conceptos de cine colaborativo, concluyendo así su vinculación. Para este análisis se trabaja con los casos del colectivo Cine sin Autor y el método Cellphilm, como metodologías. Y con el cine indígena y la pedagogía del cine, como movimientos audiovisuales.
