Comparativo entre serviço próprio versus terceirizado na manutenção da frota rodoviária de cargas : o caso do transporte de soja no Mato Grosso

Sammanfattning: | The present work has as the company under analysis, a grain carrier located in the state of Mato Grosso / Brazil and aims to compare maintenance costs of road freight transport considering different situations. The first analyzes the behavior of costs through its own structure. In the second moment, this study compares with outsourced costs. For this purpose, vehicles with the same configuration were selected: size, brand, year of manufacture, etc., which carried out similar routes, transporting the same product, in this case soybeans. The research pointed out different results, depending on the running of the vehicles, they obtained a reduction or an increase in costs, not always in favor of providing the maintenance service itself, as estimated by the company. Through the demand for this service, it is possible to monitor and simulate a comparison during the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 (equal vehicles, purchased 0KM). The study also confronts an important paradigm in administration, referring to the advantages and administration in outsourcing essential services, as a preponderant factor in optimizing management. In this regard, this research points out that, depending on the age of vehicles and planned mileage, management must choose whether or not to assume services that are not essential to the operation. In addition, this research shows the creation of a new structure, aiming to serve its own fleet, performing general services of preventive maintenance, repair of electrical and mechanical parts, rubber shop and washing. |
