Izvleček: Inequalities are frequently constructed in social relations. Consequently, in this scenario, violence can be identified, such as gender-based violence, which finds a significant contingent of victims in women. Femicide, one of the symptoms of modern gender barbarity, demands initiatives to achieve its intelligibility and overcoming. Given this panorama, this research takes as its theme the dialogical-evaluative discursive constitution of web news about femicide events that occurred in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul, all published in 2022. The general objective is to understand the dialogical-evaluative character of discourses related to the murder of women for gender reasons, present in these texts. The justification rests mainly on offering contributions to the development of reflections on language practices, subject and society. The theoretical-methodological foundation refers to assumptions of the dialogical theory of language of the Bakhtin Circle, with emphasis on the concepts of utterance, discourse genres, dialogism and chronotopia. The research is classified as exploratory, bibliographical and documentary, with a qualitative approach. As for the analysis material, it is a set of ten web news stories, four of which came from the newspaper O Nacional, from the city of Passo Fundo, and six from the Jornal Noroeste, from Santa Rosa, members of the Northwest Rio Grande do Sul Mesoregion. The analytical exercise reveals: i) the treatment of feminicide as a problem of the private sphere of relationships; ii) the reverberation of blaming accents about the victim, responsible for associating death and punishment; and iii) the refraction of police and judicial discourses, centripetal forces mobilized in favor of containing social thought. The results of the study highlight the importance of the fight for social equity, specifically reflections on ways of being and living in society, in order to build a reality of peace.
