Zusammenfassung: | Chronic kidney disease is considered a public health problem worldwide. As the population ages this disease tends to grow, known worldwide as the epidemic of the XXI century. Preeclampsia in turn is an important cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality and has been linked to increased risk for subsequent cardiovascular disease. Some authors have shown an association between preeclampsia and chronic kidney disease in this population. In order to verify this same association, we developed a study of systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies, this review, we focus on recent evidence to link preeclampsia with the future development of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease as well as the development of microalbuminuria. The theoretical foundation presents the epidemiological and socio-economic importance of the chronic kidney disease and the vulnerability of women in relation to chronic diseases. The study findings may contribute to the awareness of physicians and managers about the importance of prevention renal disease and early diagnosis of chronic kidney disease from preeclampsia |
