Summary: | Subjective well-being (BES) is a concept that arose from the idea that people began to adopt more personal criteria to define the concept of well-being, so that objective factors such as fixed income, housing, food, among others, are no longer the only ones to be considered when assessing their personal satisfaction with life. Therefore, this study seeks to better understand the concepts of subjective well-being associated with quality of life at work, defining the main factors that lead people to assess their lives subjectively. To this end, a quantitative survey was carried out with a technical survey procedure with storekeeper employees at the Bellá Cittá shopping center in the city of Passo Fundo. This research pointed out that there are three subjective factors divided into two components, which, if not balanced, influence the quality of life at work, namely, the cognitive component, which deals with life satisfaction (general or in specific domains), and the affective component , which is divided between positive and negative affects. Therefore, it was concluded that despite the existence of negative affects within the work environment, the factors that prevailed in greater quantity were positive affects, therefore, we consider that their satisfaction with life is not only high, but also fits into a vision general and specific domains that in addition to work involve marriage, children, among others |
