Whakarāpopototanga: | Agenda 2030 reiterated the industrialization importance on the pathway to sustainable development, specifically through the SDG 9 – Build resilient infrastructures, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. Industrialization promotes employment opportunities through economic growth, resulting in relevant social impacts. Investments in infrastructure, together with research, development and innovation expenditures, are fundamental for the enhancement of the industrial sector and mitigation of its environmental impacts. In this context, 2030 Agenda’s implementation should start locally, involving all stakeholders to build models for achieving the proposed objectives and targets. Given the above, this research goal was to proprose applicable actions to strengthen aspects related to Agenda 2030 SDG 9 regarding the resilient infrastructure, innovation focused on sustainability and sustainable industrialization in the development of a micro-region from Rio Grande do Sul state, Corede Produção, one of the official planning areas located in the north of the state. Diagnosis allowed comparing the Corede Produção’s counties, as well as the verification of the themes performance from an index and a scale based on GAPFRAME methodology. Next, a survey of good practices was carried out, which were grouped into four main actions: promotion of favorable business environments, training and consultancies for entrepreneurship, promotion of innovation, encouragement of rural entrepreneurship. Subsequently, the actions was selected in order to identify the most applicable to the region, through a multi-criteria analysis method (AHP) by the stakeholders - public managers, entrepreneurs and representatives of entities promoting innovation in the studied region counties. With greater relevance, the promotion of favorable business environments was preferential, considering criteria of applicability, feasibility and potential for transformation. The study allowed identifying the action that can best contribute to the direction of Corede towards achieving sustainable development, specifically about SDG 9 goals. |
