Sumari: | This study aimed to analyze the temporal evolution of employment in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the COREDE Alto da Serra do Botucaraí and in the municipality of Nicolau Vergueiro, using the structural-differential method (MED). Through the MED, we sought to identify which sectors are more competitive, more specialized and more dynamic, in view of the Proportional Effect, the Competitive Effect, the Allocation Effect and the total net variation. The results found indicate that the main sector of the municipality of Nicolau Vergueiro, when compared to the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the COREDE Alto da Serra do Botucaraí with regard to competitive advantages, is the commercial sector. For the COREDE in comparison to the state, the sector that stands out the most is also the commercial sector. |
