要約: | The poorly known Mimosa splendida Barneby has been rediscovered in the Chapada dos Veadeiros, Brazil, 105 years after its single record in 1895. Data on its habitat description, demography, reproductive parameters, and geographic range are presented. Preliminary results suggest that the rarity of M. splendida in herbarium collections is associated with a narrow geographic range, and a specialized habitat preference on rocky slopes. |
