Summary: | The Semantic Web or Web 3.0 is a model proposed by Tim Berners-Lee concept. The Semantic Web is an extension of current a web that will enable computers and humans to work in cooperation. However, in order to Web 3.0 becomes a web reality it requires to implement applications that provide their data structured according to the Semantic Web standards. In this dissertation we developed a Collaborative Learning Environment that takes advantage of the Semantic Web, and it favors the process of teaching and learning. The Collaborative Environment is based on collaboration scripts and it is integrated into a framework for the creation of Virtual Communities of Practice that are semantically structured. |
