Summary: | The central objective of this work is to analyze the nationalist ideology of the New State through the intellectual trajectory of Azevedo Amaral. We sought from his writings both in magazines and in his books, to discuss how some fundamental aspects of the nationalist ideology of the period were constructed. These aspects are: political advertising, widely used to legitimize the regime, and the elaboration of a state theory, which as a body of political ideas, explained the functioning and organization of the New State . |
