Summary: This work reflects on the way our black ancestors resisted the colonial necropolitics, mobilizing knowledge to recreate their religious spaces in Brazil under the name of Candomblé terreiros. But the main objective of the discussion is to deal with the notions of religious syncretism, theoretically deconstructing it according to decoloniality applies this Derridian concept. As a way to contribute to the current debate and, at the same time, make a diagnosis of the present, the discussion is also justified because the issue of religious syncretism has been the target of many questions by the black movements and by the theorists of the decoloniality.
