Streszczenie: | Personal correspondence and old portrait albums are a material collection of indisputable emotional value for people directly involved in these memories. They are, perhaps with a symbolic charge of equivalent mobilizing potential, a motto for the analysis of processes of transformation in the forms of social relations in the field of Social Sciences. This article, raised by an iconographic heritage as part of the mourning process, intends to correlate a symbolic heritage bequeathed between generations to the rooting of individual and family identity and, also, as a historical testimony of nuptial customs from the interwar period in Minas Gerais, Brazil . |
